Services Provided
Adult Protective Services (APS) provides the following:
- Information on scams targeting elder and dependent adults
- Investigation of suspected abuse and/or neglect of elder and dependent adults
- Investigation of protection issues and analysis of the level of risk to victim
- Case management services to those accepting assistance
- Tangible services such as emergency food, clothing and assistance in finding appropriate shelter
- Coordination of services through multidisciplinary teams providing collaborative services through community agencies and resources
